Red Rock Casino

  1. I first looked at this on my iPhone. Couldn't wait to get home and see it on a large screen. Nice.

In the second one, I like the patch of blue and how the "O" in rock and the moon play off each other. The first one is terrific, too.

  2. I meant to ask, what camera and lens do you use (if you don't mind my asking)?

  3. Actually I should put down somewhere that I use a cheapie point and shoot for ALL these photos - the Lumix TMC -DMZ4 (probably the best point and shoot). If it don't fit in my pocket, it's not coming with me.
I'll only upgrade if someone pays me to shoot, otherwise I'll resolutely remain a tourist.
If you can't afford Photo Shop, get the free Gimp to correct contrast and color balance at least.

  4. The first one is so graphic and cool and warm coloured too. Me likey.

I see that you have Panasonic too. I like many aspects of it but it produces some strange pixelated blur that is very visible in that first photo and it´s large one coloured parts. I haven´t seen anything exactly like it in photos of other camera brands. I find it a bit irritating but maybe I will adjust to it some day. usually I take photos with Canon EOS 1000D.

  5. Try as I might, I see no blur whatsoever in the top photo. If you're talking about grain, it's a good thing they've discontinued film, especially Tri-X.

  8. I like the arc of the first photo against the purple sky. I was surprised to read that you're using a point and shoot - well done! Do you think those people are having fun, W?
