What Happened To The Luxor Pyramid?
It used to be shiny, black and gleaming. Now it's dull tarpaulin grey, not smooth at all. It's been crowded in by new buildings, so you can't really see it.

The word awesome is over-used, but not in this case. Thanks for these terrific shots.
ReplyDeleteYou have to explain this to us, I have only seen this pyramid in movies and TV shows, and I am curious. The last image is stunning and even the middle one is very good.
ReplyDeleteThe pyramid used to be shiny and black and sparkling. Now look at it - what the hell is that? Did it erode or did they cover it with something?
ReplyDeleteI love the first one, and it's not even close (although the other two are nice, too).
ReplyDeleteI like the way "The Hotel" peeps out, and there are three entities, each with its own color and texture. (Variation on the rule of thirds?)
How strange...last time I was in Vegas, the pyramid was beautiful. A shame.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's staying here shortly.
ReplyDeleteGot any recommendations? She's a naturalist, a reader, a biologist and not a gambler.
