White Cross Drugstore And Diner
White Cross is one of the few remaining old-fashioned drugstores and diners on Las Vegas Blvd, north of the Stratosphere. You get heaps of bacon with your eggs - open 24 hours.

I like that White Cross kind of thing, signage. Doesn't have to be the big Strip signs.
ReplyDeleteI used to LOVE old-time diners and seek them out--but now I have so many allergies . . . :-(
ReplyDeletecool captures.
Great place, I bet it' always quite busy, 24 hours is unknown here...
ReplyDeleteI'd like to try one of these!
The beef barley soup (middle photo) sounds good, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I came across this blog. I've always wanted to see Las Vegas, and now I can through your eyes. Love your header btw, it's just swell. I'll follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteCheers.

I love these old-fashioned diners and I think it's a shame that it is 'one of the few remaining...' as you say it.
ReplyDeleteI too miss the old diners. These are great shots. The light on the indoor shots is so perfect and even. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThese are my favorite type of restaurants...and I love that they still exist. Bet the food is great.
ReplyDeleteI like these shots so much. Reminds me of drugstores with diners when I was growing up.
ReplyDeleteHi W - Obviously, I'm going to have to pass on the bacon. Also, I don't have a gold lame top...
ReplyDeleteI have a different association with the phrase "white cross," something old-time truckers would know. Nevertheless, what say you and me get together in LV for a late night breakfast at this joint the third week in March?
