A bouguet of canoes. Who thinks up public art. It's wonderful. And the photos are great. I'm assuming no tripod...yet not a bit shake in the zoom. Nice!
A bouquet of... canoes, which is probably normal over there. This is funny and creative and, I have to say, perfectly placed in front of that towering building.
It was a clever person who thought of putting such a sculpture in this context - and it fits perfectly, softening an otherwise stark atmosphere with a burst of shape and colour.
I very much like the middle photo.
Lucy
P.S. Will it last? Where I live, children and teenagers would try to get into the canoes and climb to the top of them.
My software has alerted me that a new camera is in use, in the hands of the master!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful building and a nice bunch of canoes. To me everything in Vegas looks bigger and more fun than anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteThe canoes look good all entangled in a web. Terrific shot of the building too.
ReplyDeleteLucy: nobody can get near that art piece. No teenagers roaming about in a luxury Vegas hotel.
