Glass And More Glass At City Center
If there's one word to describe the new City Center, it's glass. And reflections. People crossing the pedestrian walkway are dwarfed by the sheer size of it. The bottom photo is the entrance to the Crystals Mall - they had to put stickers on the doors, because no one could find them.

WOW! These are amazing pictures, very pretty and classy looking!
ReplyDeleteDetroit has LOTS of ugliness, but it also has beauty. (Thank Goodness!)
C'mon, you can't be this good. You are scanning postcards!!
ReplyDeleteSuper futuristic and cool. Trouble is, like you say, that there has to be stickers and perhaps A4-papers taped to the glass with directions for lost people. I know that feeling!:-)
ReplyDeleteThese are brilliant! I would like to tell you which one I most like but I simply can't choose!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost as though the planners said Enough with these romantic, creamy stone facades! And then they went totally abstract/modern. Gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they ever used stone, just stone looking. When the Monte Carlo caught fire last year, turns out the exterior was made of foam.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular buildings, these images are great. Difficult to make these with foam...
ReplyDeleteThese architectural and reflective photos are fabulous, W.
