Sports Betting
Vegas is one of the few places in the U.S. where sports betting is legal and it's big business, especially in the fall, between the baseball and the football. Every casino has a sportsbook and people just love to gather.

Here everybody beds wherever they want to. There are offices for horses, football (soccer) car races and I don't know.
ReplyDeleteI found that the land of freedom has a rather very limited freedom in everything.
Great shots - but I find them a little sad too.
ReplyDeleteGambling is something I've never done to speak of. I've never understood it's allure.
ReplyDeleteHave to admit I feel the same way as your other readers, your photos are terrific and really give you a look at sports gambling. I, too, think we have limited freedom in many things and I do think the addiction to gambling is sad. I've never understood the fascination that gambling has for people, but then that's probably because it has never appealed or even interested me in the least.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day! Hey, and good luck at the tables!!

It´s like they are doing something important, like voting in parliament or something...but it´s sports betting. All that stuff, I don´t get it.
ReplyDeleteI like the gathering part. And chrome is right - it does look like a parliament session. As for your question on my post. The Virgin Hill is in a virgin forest but the similarity in name is coincidental and only after translation from the original Polish names.
ReplyDeleteHi W,
ReplyDeleteI'm having a lot of trouble leaving a comment at your site (on a former post). Have you banned me, W?? Anyway, I'll comment on the earlier post here and see if it goes. I love the back shot of the 4 guys gaming - perfect. I was wondering how you managed these shots inside the Casinos - glad you explained. Please take some Library pics - more my speed, I'm afraid.
PS Stop smoking! (Now I'll be banned for sure...)
Snowing here in CO, W - it would be too cold for you but beautiful nonetheless.
Barb, I haven't banned anyone - I wonder why you're having such problems posting - your kind comments are always welcome.
ReplyDeletechrome, ha ha, looks like parliament - very, very funny.
The sports book looks more elaborate than I thought it might be. (I saw one in Reno before, not as big.) Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteThis look like Cape Canaveral or what they use now instead of it! Incredible how many terminals they have... Very good shots.
ReplyDeleteI love the shots last time I tried to get some I got chased out.
