Amazing how money is spent on signs like these. Signs that turn some people off and, apparently, turn some people on. Ah, well. Such is life. Great post.
Very interesting, W. I wonder if you visually "block" all this signage since you see it every day? The last photo with the glittering ceiling and the gun sign is definitely a juxtaposition (and a bit scary!).
I love the way you're documenting Vegas. My favorite post is the photos of statues in Boulder city dedicated to the workers who built the dam and your comment about proletarian statues in Poland. suzilive.com
You can post just signs for a year and you'll never run out of images, especially since you live in Vegas. Nice ones.
ReplyDeleteSign Sign everywhere a sign
ReplyDeleteDo this, don't do that, can't you read the sign
Nice shots.
Did you start out looking for signs, or did it just happen?
I have to agree with ewok1993 -- you'll never run out of images since you live in Vegas! Great post! Thanks!

I read them all, really a funny post. You have to post more of these. Maybe not for a year, but often!
ReplyDeleteAmazing and bizarre - especially that last sign!

ReplyDeleteGreat idea to focus on the signs. Good shots.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for today's post!
ReplyDeleteOne ought to see humor in life. :)
Vegas provides such diversity. It blows my mind from overload. Nice captures of your world.
