Stratosphere Sky Jump
For a $100 you can jump off the Stratosphere, the tallest structure west of the Mississippi. That little dot in the top photo is someone screaming on the way down.

Don't you mean they pay you? A lot?
ReplyDeleteCorrection: You can jump off for free. However, if you want to use their safety harness apparatus that makes the trip survivable, that will cost you $100. :-)
ReplyDeleteRakewell: very funny. Correction: you can jump off for free or, rather, the $15 they charge you to go up there.
ReplyDeleteWhatever floats your boat, I guess, but I think I could do without a jump! I took a hot air balloon ride that was terrific and like floating in the air in a way, but I think I'll pass on this one. Hell, I'm too old to even ride in the elevator that far up! Fun post! I love it! Hope you have a great week!

ReplyDeleteFreefall, I am not sure whether I want to experience it.
OH my - I can hear the screams from here!
ReplyDeleteRakewell's comment cracked me up (lol).
ReplyDeleteare they using elasticized rope like in bungee jumping? this is exciting.:p
Great shots. Dare devil stuff.
ReplyDeleteI have to pay them to do this? Unbelievable... but spectacular!
ReplyDeleteEven the thought of jumping off of this structure makes my head swim and my stomach curl up in knots. It does make an interesting set of photos. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis could never be me! LOL! Vertigo is a great friend of mine... Great post!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm glad I didn't eat breakfast yet.... Great shots!
ReplyDeleteW - Leave it to you! I had to enlarge that first pic for the full effect...no thanks to that adventure!
