The final table of the ladies' tournament - playing poker in a mink stole? Vanessa Hellebuyck of France (far left) won. Linda Johnson is the first lady of poker, much respected for promoting the game. Christine Pietsch didn't enter the ladies event - she was busy on the other side of the room beating the men at 7-card stud. In spite of going into heads-up with a chip lead, it was not to be.
Nice shots.

Great pictures. Don't know much about the game but I like the expressions in the women's faces you captured. And of course the mountain of chips...!
ReplyDeleteMoney, consumerism, joy - this post has it all.
ReplyDeleteThe lady in the stole must have won some money for that facelift! I love the smile of the last - that's a great candid, W!
