Liberace Museum Gift Shop
Liberace was the Elvis for the faint of heart and hard of hearing - he couldn't possibly knock up your daughter. The giant red rooster adorned his mansion, he pushed his own products - a tin of lemon mix from the 60s - and you can buy a set of Liberace cut out dolls and play with them all day.

I believe Liberace was who talked Elvis into doing his outlandish later costumes.
ReplyDeleteI was curious what the scholars of the Liberace foundation were, so I asked Mr. Google. His foundation gives scholarships to students and those students are known as scholars.
ReplyDeleteNice shots.
These are great I haven't been I will have to check the Museum out.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, I was not aware of him.
ReplyDeleteHow in the world did I not visit this yet?

ReplyDeleteYou have amazed us again! I know they are going to make a movie on Liberace, next year.
ReplyDeleteOMG ! I had completely forgotten about that guy, lol !

(I'm applying in poetry).
What a fun group of shots. Liberace was such a hoot.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen anyone as kitsch as Liberace and the museum surely makes him justice! LOL! How fun that gift shop must be!
ReplyDeleteI miss Liberace.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know where I could buy a reproduction Liberace Candelabra ring? They used to sell them in his museum gift shop. The size wouldn't matter. I could have it sized.
ReplyDeleteI have tried several times to contact the only supposedly "active" Liberace office phone number but nobody ever picks up or returns my calls.
Thank you for any leads.
