Bellagio Conservatory - Summer

Summer is sprung at the Bellagio Conservatory - a giant ferris wheel that looks like sunflower and bits of lighted water spurting everywhere.

Kodak announced today that it's discontinuing the film Kodachrome - digital is better, I think, and so much cheaper. But for sentimental reasons, it's the end of an era (and the beginning of a new one).

  1. Love the ferris wheel! Is it indoors?

  2. Blue neon water is an excellent idea.

Sorry about Kodachrome. I don´t feel bad about it, though as I hardly remember the film days now.

  6. It's all air-conditioned indoors. No one goes outdoors in Vegas, except to sit by the pool.

  9. Things change in our lives, sometimes for the better, sometimes not. Whatever it is we are saddened by the change since another thing we have become used to has disappeared.
You are really good at night-time shots.

Thank you for your kind comment.

  11. Only in Vegas do find a giant ferris wheel inside a building! I've only been through the Vegas airport, never in the city itself. But there are some fantastic sights to see there. As for the helicopter, it finished yesterday and all's quiet here today.

  12. neat display as usual. I wonder who gets to pick the ideas each season, I'd run out of them and start tacking flowers just anywhere with random items sticking out of them. Hey there's an idea Bellagio
