Vegas Valley
Vegas is surrounded by mountains - to the south, east is Sunrise Mountain and to the south-east, behind Boulder Station, more mountains. We can only get so big.

It looks like a fun place to live. And a great place to make money if you own one of the casinos.
ReplyDeleteThe mountains in the middle photo are stunning!
ReplyDeleteNice Pictures. The second one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteNice images !!
ReplyDeleteI like that last photo, with each level of the mountains fading into different colours..
Thanks for your comments on my blog :-)
No, my photos for my 'My World' post were not taken with my 35mm SLR. They were taken with my 6.2 mp, HP Photosmart R725 point and shoot digital. I also shot a roll of film, which is currently at Costco's 1 hr lab :-)
I certainly want to get a good Digital SLR, as soon as I can afford it or even a better digital point and shoot ..... but I also enjoy that little extra challenge that comes with film.
Great shots. I haven't been to Vegas in a couple of years. The desert/mountain sunrises and sunsets are really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThere is still plenty of space to expand the city. At least that´s the way I see it.
ReplyDeleteThose are all fabulous shots but the second is my favorite.
ReplyDeletethat second shot is beautiful...just as i remember the valley...
ReplyDeletehave a good week.
Great shots of the valley! Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views!
ReplyDeleteAaaaahh... the beauty of those desert sunrises and sunsets. :-)
ReplyDeleteI just passed through NV, but this time not near Vegas. Your city lights up the sand and rock. Somehow your camera sees through it all to the bare bones of the landscape. (And - sometimes just the bare!)
ReplyDeleteI have been to Las vegas and of course seen a lot of films from LV so it is nice to look around,
