Hot Dog Eating Contest - Faces Of Valor

The winner of the Vegas preliminaries (30 dogs in 10 minutes) will go to Coney Island to take on the world champion (60+ dogs in 10 mins).  Speed eating? This is one contest I wouldn't mind coming in dead last.

What great fun everyone had at Pet-A-Palooza, especially the dogs and their human pets. I certainly took a darn good licking - hope some of the older dogs got adopted.

I could've sat and watched the doggie high jump all afternoon - the dogs loved showing off - the louder the crowd cheered, the higher they jumped. Some breeds are more athletic than others - the chihuahuas sat in the stands and barked approval.

The Smith Center has two buildings - the Reynolds with the concert hall and the Boman Pavilion with the 300 seat cabaret and the studio theater - all of it quite gorgeous art deco, down to the trash cans.
